John Low sneakers contain from 50% to 80% regenerated materials, certified through Italian patents which aim to preserve primary resources, with particular attention to water, a precious resource.

The upper of the John Low is made with high quality suede called EVOLO, produced by the SCIARADA tannery using ecological, certified and patented processes. This innovative process respects the environment and the principles of the circular economy, recovering and regenerating processing waste, reducing the use of chemical products and reducing CO2 emissions, also reducing the use of water.

The material used for the regenerated nylon of the upper is Limonta, made with Econyl yarn, which is produced using pre/post-consumer waste such as industrial waste, fishing nets and carpets. The internal lining of the sneakers is made of biodegradable goat leather, tanned with organic materials free of harmful substances and produced with very low water consumption.

The sole of the sneakers is made of 50% recycled rubber, obtained from the recovery of processing waste appropriately separated from accelerators and sulphur, and 50% natural rubber. Even the EVA parts contain 40% recycled material.
