The Sebago story begins in Scarborough, Maine, USA. Three entrepreneurs—Daniel J. Wellehan Sr., William Beaudoin, and Joseph Cordeau—teamed up to create footwear that was both elegant and suitable for nautical activities.
From here was born the first iconic Sebago model: the " Classic Dan ".
